The spectators guided a dying man who “please remain with us” after he was “deliberately” beaten with a car at a party, witnesses said.
The emergency services were called to Stonyhurst Road in the Woolton area of Liverpool after the 47 -year -old man was Kured at 23:45 BST on Friday.
Police said a 41 -year -old man was arrested on the scene under suspicion of murder and remained in custody to interrogate.
The Yvonne Sowerby resident, 65, told the BBC “that it did not seem real” after witnessing the sequelae of the attack courtyards from its main door.
“You can’t understand it, you don’t expect it anywhere other than here,” he said.
Mrs. Sowerby said earlier at night she had seen several guests who wore gifts and “party bags” in a house belonging to a woman who had moved to the area relatively recently.

Around 23:30 he described hearing a “shock” outside, which seemed to go down before stealing again.
“Something made me jump out of bed, I don’t know white, it was the brake chillido or what,” he said.
“I saw a diagonal car on the other side of the road, on the other side of the car there were a group of people looking down, so I gathered someone who was lying on the road.
“They shouted, ‘stay with me, stay with me, you don’t dare to close your eyes, please, stay with me,’ we listen to all that while we were standing there.”
Another neighbor described when he listened to a woman shouting “that’s my brother” while running where the Kured man was lying.

Witnesses who saw the consequences also described the driver’s side when left in the car.
On Saturday, a large blue inflatable police tent had placed the leg around the black car that hit the victim and a white in the middle of Stonyhurst Road.
Detectives could also be seen playing doors and talking to local residents.
Det Track Katie Cooote said that while police investigation was at an early stage, “it seemed that the car was deliberately conducted to man.”
She added: “Our officers continue to consult the scene and study CCTV images to establish complete circumstances.
“I appeal to anyone who has witnessed this incident and any resident who lived locally that CCTV can have showing the incident, so that it contacts.”
The Merseyside police said that local residents rushed to help the injured man before the paramedics arrived.
