Wantabix workers have voted to strike as part of a dispute over payment.
The employees of the Breakfast Cereal Company will organize protests outside the Burton Latimer and Corby sites of the firm, both in Northhamptoneshire, starting April 29.
The picket lines will be composed of members of the store union, distributive and allies (USDAW), which have been trying to negotiate a salary increase.
Kenabix has not yet responded to the request of the BBC response.
Gavin Dadley, regional secretary of the USDAW, said that negotiations “had not achieved an offer that could be recommended to membership.”
“In the light of this, we have decided to notify the company of our intention to begin industrial action,” he said.
“We remain firmly committed to reaching a joint negotiated agreement to end this dispute.”
