Detectives are investigating whether simultaneous fire attacks against two houses in Bishopbrigg are the latest incidents related to an ongoing gang dispute.
The Police of Scotland confirmed that both fires were called in Colston Drive of the city of East Dunbartonshire and John Marshall Drive around 12:50 on Monday morning.
The emergency services attended and the fires were extinguished. Injuries were not reported, but both bees treated as volunteers.
A series of fire incidents in Edinburgh and Glasgow in the last week were linked to rival organized crimes.
The videos that claim to show fires have published online along with warnings that name families that have a leg linked to organized crime.
Several houses and other properties have been lit in recent weeks, and the police confirmed that the incidents in the east and western Scotland were being treated as “potentially linked.”
