The London Iron Works developer has revealed that they are planned that construction works begin at the new Travelodge station in Road in June.
A company spokesman told the Recorder That in Meeanime there is a bone “much compliance and technical work” that takes place in the background.
The demolition and authorization of the site were completed in January, followed by land investigations and the hoarding installation.
The plans for the hotel were originally rejected by the Hovering Council in January 2023 after the violent reaction of the community, but then approved in 2024.
Travelodge has agreed to a 25 -year -old lease with London Iron Works, who acquired the site with the aim of offering a new mixed use development in the center of the city of Upminster.
The developer has launched computer -generated images, which shows how the hotel would see from the outside.
It is ready to have 82 rooms in total, as well as new retail units on the ground floor.
Daniel Harris, director of London Iron Works, previously said the Recorder That the new hotel “will support the economy of visitors in Upminster and bring economic benefits to the municipality”, something that the company is “very proud.”
Hey later added: “Development is progressing well and we hope that the hotel will open in early 2026”.
