The students in the municipality had a significant low level in the London and the National last year, according to the annual school performance report of the Council.
The report, discussed at the cabinet meeting on March 26, revealed that only 6.4 percent of the students achieved to*s, compared to almost 16pc in London and 14PC at the national level.
Executive Mayor Lutfur Rahman expressed his disappointment for this low performance in the key stage.
He requested the writing of options for an independent achievement service and a school improvement service to guarantee excellence at all key education.
Despite this, the mayor expressed pride in the registration of administration on educational opportunities for promotion, highlighting policies such as educational maintenance subsidy, university scholarships, free school meals and free school uniform subsidies.
The cabinet also discussed the strategic plan, budget monitoring, waste services and other key issues, approval of the annual delivery plan and addressing the budget conns.
