Robinson appealed against his sentence on Friday, and the Court of Appeals said that his mental health, combined with his segregation in prison, is “making him sick” and has a “demonstrable effect” on him.
The attorney general opposed the appeal of the 42 -year -old man, with his lawyers stating that “there are no reasons to alter prayer.”
On a ruling on Wednesday, Lady Justice Baroness Carr, Lord Justice Edis and Lord Justice Warby dismissed the appeal.
They said: “The application of the judge of the law and its reasoning on the appropriate sanction in this case exhibit a meticulous approach.”
The decision marks Robinson’s second defeat in less than a month, after an attempt to present a legal challenge against the government about his segregation at HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes was expelled from the Superior Court in March.

Delivering the sentence in October, Judge Johnson said that “no one is above the law”, and described Robinson’s infractions about the court order as “flagrant.”
The judge said Robinson could reduce his sentence in four months if he touched certain steps to “purge” his contempt, such as eliminating the film from his social media pages.
