The study also revealed that 84 percent of dog owners see a long walk like a bank tradition, with 48 percent of seeing it as an opportunity for one day.
However, 77 percent of the owners say that they and their dogs are bored of the same daily walk.

“What you do for each one will depend on your dog’s life stage, physical abilities and race, but for your average adult dog in good health, this may like a quick walk to warm up, a game game in some activation of something and cool cooling.”
He added: “To fight Bordom, consider the breed, energy level, the personality of his dog and what motivates them.
“Choose routes and activities that take advantage of those natural instincts.
“Bringing sweets or a favorite toy can help reinforce good behavior and keep your dog focused, especially when you practice skills such as retirement or loose lead walk.”
“When choosing where to walk, look for friendly routes with dogs with varied terrain, space to explore safely and minimum hazards.
“Always respect the local orientation: keep dogs with potential clients where necessary, avoid disturbing wildlife and is very aware of nesting seasons.”
