The Magdala in South Hill Park, Hampstead, has been recognized as the pub of the year of the year in northern Camra (campaign for Real Ale).
The pub, on the edge of Hampstead Heath, reopened in 2021 after a closure of seven years.
She is quite known as the place where Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be hung in Britain, shot her boyfriend David Blakely in 1955.
But bullet holes on the outer wall are false, perforated at the request of a posterior homemade.
She added: “Three years of having a leg among the first five, the last two as finalists and this year they finally obtained it.
“They are a great team that handles it. They are really welcoming. The staff behind the bar is really knowledgeable.
“If you want a dark bear, they will tell you what is available. They know their things.”

She said the staff was “very young”, but the pub attracted “young people to pensioners.”
“In the event, the bar stools were formed by 20 -year -old young people and young people, that almost summarizes the pub,” he added.
Colin Coyne, president of northern London, Camra, said: “We are completely proud to have the Magdala as our pub of the year. He has arrived twice in the last two years and was a matter of time before he won.
“We are very proud to be one of our stables or pubs.”
The irrigation well is a designated active of community value (ACV), which prevents it from selling immediately and gives local people the opportunity to buy it.
