The Grayhound harvester at High Road is temporarily closed as the works began on Tuesday (April 22).
The national chain told this document today (April 25) that the site is “experiencing an exciting renewal to give the popular restaurant a new exciting appearance.”
Changes in the restaurant include new interiors, furniture and lighting.
“The most exciting thing will be a great investment in the garden and the outdoor dining room, creating new seats for guests to enjoy,” said Harvester.
The new works have also created legs.
According to Harvester, general manager Grant Apps has already recruited talent locally before the new opening, with more opportunities to follow for waiting roles and chef in May and June.
The restaurant is ready to crush on May 15.
Grant said: “We are very excited to travel our doors and reveal our new aspect.
“We are eager to welcome guests, old and new, to join us to get an excellent meal in an all good environment.
“I and the rest of the Grayhound team are excited to share our new renewed restaurant with our guests and we are really satisfied with the new appearance and our new menu.”
On the Harvester website confirms that the next closest branch is in Gidea Park, while other close harvesting restaurants include Cross Lane Abbs in Horchurch and Beehive Lane in Ilford.
