Belvedere – Water network replacement in Parkide Road
In Belvedere, Parkside Road will be closed from Stanmore Road to Poplar Mount from April 17 so that the water of the Thames can replace the water network.
The work is being done by Morrisons Water Services on behalf of Thames Water.
Several side roads will also be affected, without access of vehicles at their crossings with Parkide Road.
These include Stanmore Road, Gordon Road, Ashburnham Road, Mayfield Road, Bullbanks Road, Belwood Road and Poplar Mount.
Gladeswood Road will also close from the number 8 from outside to the crossing with Halt Robin Road.
The order allows the closures to remain in place for up to 18 months, although the works are expected to take around 58 days.
There are no alternative vehicle routes that go to the works, although emergency access will still be allowed.
Belvedere – Temporary closure of Boevey Path
Also in Belvedere, Boevey Path will be closed to pedestrians for a day since April 14, while BT and Sunbelt Rentals carry out public service assets works.
The closure covers a 30 -meter stretch of the road west of number 2.
A pedestrian deviation will be available through Osborne Road and Croft Close.
SIDCUP – Gas network replacement at Old Farm Avenue
In Sidcup, Old Farm Avenue will close in three sections as of April 17, since Southern Gas Networks replaces gas networks.
The work is being done by JDT Utilities in its name.
The closures will be in their place between Longmeadow Road and Hollies Avenue, between Hollies Avenue and Old Farm Road West, and from outside number 2 to Old Farm Road West.
The closures are expected to last about seven weeks, although the order is still valid for 18 months.
Fun routes will be signed and access for residents will be maintained through Hollies Avenue.
Welling – Short closure for water works in Lyme Road
In Welling, part of Lyme Road will close from April 22 for repair and maintenance to the road and pavement about 12 Okehampton Crescent.
The work will be carried out by Morrison Water Services on behalf of the Water of Thames.
The closure will affect about 20 meters from Lyme Road from the crossing with Okehampton Crescent, and is expected to last up to six days.
Fun routes will be made using local roads such as Tor Road, Axminster Crescent and Upper Wickham Lane.
