The Shake -Up – Impacting Services throughout the city – includes altered frequencies, temporary schedules due to ongoing road works and updates of the first and last bus times.
TFL urges passengers to verify their routes in advance to avoid interruption.
As one of the world’s largest bus networks, TFL operates more than 9,000 buses on 700 routes.
The service offers a flat rate of £ 1.75, with unlimited trips within an hour through the hopper rate.
Accessibility and sustainability are key priorities, with many accessible buses for wheelchairs and a growing number of electric and hybrid vehicles, with the objective of a zero emissions fleet by 2034.
The following changes will take place as of Saturday, April 26, 2025:
- Route 31 will have a new schedule every day of the week with the increased frequency early in the morning on every day of the week every 12 minutes from the first bus, but also reduced each Monday to Friday to one bus every 12 minutes. The frequency duration of the day from Monday to Saturday will remain on a bus every 10 minutes and every 12 minutes on Saturday night and all day on Sunday. Route 31 will be operated by First London from this date.
- A temporary schedule will be introduced on Route 51 that approaches the frequency of the service to every 11 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday. Do not change the event or on Sunday. This schedule will be in place until the end of the works in Cray Avenue in the St Mary Cray area.
- Route 79 will have a new schedule every day of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday and every 15 minutes.
- Route 83 will have a new schedule every day of the week with the frequency restored to every 8 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday, every 10 minutes on Saturday and each duration of the week.
- Route 92 will have a new schedule every day of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday and every 12 minutes.
- Route 95 will have a new schedule every day of the week with lower changes in the times.
- Route 171 will have a new schedule every day of the week with lower changes in the times.
- Route 182 will have a new schedule every day of the week with the frequency restored to every 8 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday and every 10 minutes.
- Route 218 will have a new schedule every day of the week with lower changes in the times.
- A temporary schedule will be introduced on route 220 that the service frequency is carried out from Monday to Friday to every 7-8 minutes. The event does not change or at any time on Saturdays and Sundays. This schedule is in place to help reliability.
- Route 285 of 24 hours will have a new schedule every day and the night of the week with the travel times reviewed to better reflect current traffic levels.
- Route 306 will have a new schedule every day of the week with the travel times reviewed to better reflect current traffic levels.
- A temporary schedule will be introduced on Route 363 that the service frequency approaches every 12 minutes of the AM peak from Monday to Friday and every 11-12 minutes. There is no change in frequency during the nights. This schedule will be in place until the end of the works in the common area of Dulwich.
- Route 383 will have a new schedule from Monday to Saturday with the travel times reviewed to better reflect current traffic levels.
- Route 440 restored to run to the Wembley stadium after completing the works along Wembley High Road.
- Route 483 will have a new schedule every day of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday and every 12 minutes.
- A temporary schedule will be introduced on route C10 that carries the frequency of the service to every 8-9 minutes during Saturday. There is no change from Monday to Friday, Sunday or duration of the equations on Saturday. This schedule will be in place until Lambeth Bridge approaches in both directions.
- A new bus stop will be introduced on Route E2 at the northern end of Commerce Road from this date, allowing passengers to use route E2 along the entire trade road to Greenford. There is no change in the route schedule.
- The H14 route will have a new schedule on every day of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday and every 15 minutes.
- Route H17 will have a new schedule on every day of the week with the frequency restored to every 15 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday and every 20 minutes.
- Route N31 will have a new schedule on every night of the week with small changes in the times. Route N31 will be operated by First London from this date.
- Route N171 will have a new schedule on every night of the week with lower changes in the times.
- A temporary schedule will be introduced on Route P13 that extends the frequency of the service to every 17-18 minutes during the AM & PM peak from Monday to Friday and the day on Saturdays, every 16-17 minutes during the day from Monday to Friday and every 22-23 minutes during the nights and all day on Sunday. This schedule will be in place until the end of the works in the common area of Dulwich.
