There were 2,319 votes cast in total, with a 27.29 percent share.
The first time candidate Richard Choi will join his fellow councilors of Lib dem, Ed Parsley and Cryss Mennaceur, in the Sutton Central Ward, which the party has dominated since its creation in 2002.

The neighborhood includes most of the city center and includes the offices of High Street and Council. Most of its residents live in homes east of Sutton High Street.

Choi, who moved from Hong Kong to Sutton in 2008, told the local democracy reports (LDRS): “We are making a little story here.”
Sutton has one of the largest Ex-Pat communities in the country. When asked about his goals as an counter, he said he promised to help regenerate the main street, a key project led by Sutton’s Lib dem -counter. Hi, he added that improving security in the city center was another priority.
Mr. Choi spent more than ten years working as an industrial design specialist at Nokia Mobile and now directs business development consumption products. He also has a leg involved in the work of the local community, serving as governor in Sutton College and sitting at the Board of Safe Neighborhoods.
Companion Lib dem and the leader of the Barry Lewis council joined him at night. Both Lewis and the Lib De dem -team were satisfied with the result and said they planned to celebrate with Pub drinks.
Choi was one of several candidates for the first time at night. Both the conservative Maria Arif and Joanna Bishop of the United Kingdom had their names on the ballot for the first time, having recently entered politics.
Independent candidate Pamela Marsh also fought against her single election. The veteran candidate for the Alliance of the Christians Ashley Dickenson and Peter Friel de los Verdes, who did not attend at night.
Kerrie Peek of Labor had also fought for the Sutton Central Ward in 2022. She and her team remained with a pressed lips for the short count and refused to talk to the press.
The participation was low at night, with approximately 70% of the 8,520 voters of Sutton Central who stayed at home in the day. The count was a hero in the bowels of the Sutton Civic Center, and the winner was named around midnight.
The partial election was activated in March after the disqualification of the Councilor for Lib dem, David Bartolucci, who previously served as leader of the Patuty Council. He resigned after his absence of the Business Business in September or last year.
According to the rules of the Sutton Council, the elected councilors can be disqualified if they do not attend the council meetings for six months. Cllr Bartolucci was one of the three liberal Democratic representatives for the Sutton Central Ward. He first chosen the Council in 2014, said the largest number of votes among all the candidates in their duration of the room the most recent local elections in 2022.
After the result of Thursday night, the Sutton Council comprises 28 Lib dem -councilors, 21 conservatives, 2 Labor and 3 independent resident councilors of Sutton.
