Statistics, published by property solutions, reveal that properties in the SM2 or Sutton postal code area are taking an average of 129 days to sell.
This is a little faster than the average of 137.6 days for the entire Sutton.
The data, which are updated monthly, analyzed hundreds of property sales in the region between March 2024 and March 2025.
It tracks the moment since a property appears in the main property portals of the United Kingdom until it is marked as “sold” in the HM Lands Registry.
Other areas where the sale of properties quickly includes Postal codes SM5 and SM6 of Sutton, where an average of 133 and 138 days are needed to sell, respectively.
The SM5 postal code covers Carshalon, and the CR5 covers wallington and other areas.
The SM1 postal code was the following postal code that had faster sales, with an average of 143 days to sell.
At the other extreme of the spectrum, the properties in the North Cheam SM3 postal code are taking longer to sell, with an average of 145 days.
The Sutton postal code has an SM prefix and has SM1, SM2, SM3, SM5 and SM6.
The SM4 postal code falls under Merton, which covers Morden, and the SM7 postal code covers areas of the Borden surface of London as Banstead.
Ruban Sávanayagam of Property Solvers said: “Although the general times of the House of London remain in line with historical tendencies, there are encouraging signs that a greater adoption of the efficiency driven by technology by the duration of the industry.
“A key example is to improve the accessibility and transparency of property -related data, which makes transactions more perfect.
“It is also worth noting that many buyers have pressed so that their transactions are completed before April 1, given the reind out of the Tax Tax Band (SDLT) of 2%.”
