“These scenes were printed in my memory from childhood,” recalls Regina. “I discovered that the painting was correct to express all my memories and share them.”
Regina, who grew up in Lithuania, works for Barchester Healthcare at her home in Southgate Beaumont in Cannon Old Hill. Some residents who do not have mobility obtain their own ‘private’ exhibition with Regina in their rooms.
Activity Coordinator Zoe Grindley said: “Art is popular here, it is part of our day.
“Organizing public events such as Regina’s exhibition brings to the outside world and transports our residents to another world.”
The house regularly organizes art events and a monthly conference with the Palliative Medicine consultant, Dr. Mark Banting.
