A family from Tyrone del Condado has said that nothing is going to bring to his “Wee Breta” back, since a man was imprisoned for five years for killing the nine -year -old in an accident outrage.
Ronan Wilson, from Kildress, died after he was hit by a car driven by Sergee Kelly to more than 100 km/h (62 mph) in Atlantic Way in Bundoran in Donegal County, where the speed limit was 50 km/h.
Kelly, 24, or Upper Mullaghmore, Sligo County admitted a dangerous driving that caused death, not offering assistance, not stopping and not staying in the incident scene.
He was sentenced in the Donegal Circuit Court in Letterkenny on Friday, where he also received a 20 -year driving prohibition.

On Tuesday, the court was read evidence of a document prepared by a Slaw (Irish police officer).
He described how Ronan was hit by a car, probably traveling between 105-110 km/h, since he returned from stores with his older brother to the family campist since September 23, 2023.
Ronan died in the place and a pathologist said that the cause was a catastrophic brain injury.
The court heard that Kelly was driving so fast that the car had abandoned the scene before Ronan’s body landed on the road to 58 m from the point of impact.
He also heard that Kelly fled the scene and a “binge” of drugs and alcohol was performed after the collision.

Kelly was arrested the next morning after her car was tracked with CCTV.
The officer’s evidence said that if Kelly had been leading to the speed limit, he would have had two seconds to react to Ronan in the middle of the road.
The court heard that Kelly’s car was modified with dyed windows that restricted his point of view.
Gardaí said his seat was tilted back, which means that his “vision was reduced.”
The prosecutor’s lawyer said that CCTV’s images showed that the strength of the collision made the child in the air.
Previous convictions
It was told to the court that Kelly had previous convictions for assault and careless driving.
On the dock on Tuesday, he apologized to the Wilson family.
“It’s horrible to me, so I can’t imagine what the leg for you is like,” he said
“I was careless with my speed that night. It won’t bring your little boy back, but I hope to declare guilty brings a closure.”

For Ronan’s afflicted family, prayer is little comfort.
“We are lost without him,” said Ronan’s father, Dean Wilson.
“It was his birthday there on Friday.
“That’s all we could for him, sing happy birthday. I should have bone 11. He only reached nine and a half.”

Speaking before the sentence, Ronan’s mother, Emma, said she felt she was “falling apart.”
“It really doesn’t matter what you get because you’ll never bring Ronan back,” he said.
“It was a little battery, but I had a gold heart, and was loved by all and had so many friends
“Nobody wants to do anything because Ronan is not here. He was the baby.”

In March, the Donegal County Council, Speed hits along the road where Ronan was killed.
It is a movement that has arrived too late for the Wilson family.
“I feel angry because they were not awake now. And it is Ronan’s death to get them,” said his mother.
His father said that “they should have been years ago.”
“It is a very, with amusement bus, water world, go-kart track, all the apartments and things on both sides of the road there,” he said.
“It’s crazy that they didn’t.
