The officers continue to look for a driver after a woman was hit by a golf course after a police chase.
West Midlands police said the officers were using CCTV and witness information to locate the driver and two passengers after the accident left the woman, at 60, with serious injuries.
Emergency services They were called to Aston Wood Golf Club in the town of Little Aston, on the border of Staffordshire and Sutton Coldfield, on Friday morning.
The woman remains in a critical but stable condition and the family is bee supported by officers, the police added.
“The driver and the two passengers from the getaway and remain outstanding,” said a force spokesman.
They added that the matter has been sent to the Independent Police Conduct (IAPC) office, which is investigating the participation of West Midlands police officers before the collision.
The Staffordshire police, who consults with West Midlands officers, asked anyone with registered information or images of the area at that time to get in touch.
