The Ford Fiesta del Man crashed with a black defender from Land Rover just before 8.30 pm on Saturday, police said.
The paramedics attended the scene in the town of Riverhead, near Sevenoaks, and the man was tasks of a London hospital to receive additional treatment, added the force.
“Before this collision, the Ford Fiesta de Plata was involved in a search that involved police officers,” said a statement.
A mandatory reference has a leg made to the independent office for police conduct.
The officers look for witnesses, images of CCTV and Dashcam.
