The accident occurred in London Road near the roundabout of Stonehouse corner around 10.15 pm yesterday (April 24).
A 17 -year -old boy died in the place and an 18 -year -old man from Rainham was arrested on suspicion of causing death for driving dangerous and is in custody.
The road was closed during the night, but now it is open again.
