Around 8.30 am today (April 26) two cars were in an accident in Purley Way at its crossroads with Trojan Way in Croydon.
One of the drivers, a man in his 50s, was tasks for the hospital where he is in critical condition.
The driver of the second car was a man in about 40 who was also hospital tasks.
It is not believed that the condition of the second driver is serious.
There were no other reports or injuries.
An investigation has been launched and a scene remains in place.
Any witness has been advised to call 101 citing CAD 1807/26apr25.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Around 08.30 on Saturday, April 26, two cars were in collision in Purley Way at its crossroads with Trojan Way, Croydon.
“With the officers they responded and the driver of one of the cars, a man in his 50s, was tasks for the hospital in critical condition.
“The driver of the second car, a man in his 40s, was also tasks for the hospital, but his condition is not believed to be serious.
“There are no other reports or injuries.
“A scene remains in place while an investigation continues.
“Witnesses are recommended to call 101 citing CAD 1807/26apr25”.
