Oliver Glasner says that his side of Crystal Palace to quickly forget his humiliation 5-0 in Newcastle United on Wednesday night.
The hosts took the lead after 14 minutes when Jacob Murphy lifted the ball on the right side and fired the Dean Henderson ball in his near post.
Glasner’s team received a penalty after the half -hour brand when Nick Pope came to clear a cross in the box and frustrated Chris Richards in the process. After a review of Leghy Var and in the field, referee Darren England pointed to the place.
Ebeeechi Eze lost the resulting penalty, promoting his career and shooting the ball in the palms of the Newcastle cap.
Newcastle climbed the other end three minutes later and doubled its advantage in the counterattack when the Harvey Barnes cross deviated from Marc Guehi and Henderson badly with wrong feet.
Alexander Isak should have added a third when the ball fell inside the area in the 41st minute, but the Swedish striker shot directly to Richards and globed his rebound high and wide.
Barnes scored a third in the 47th minute when the palace came out again in the counterattack, with the former Leicester attacker, cut Maxnce Lacroix and the drilling fits Henderson.
Fabian Schar scored a room to add a free kick routine from a Jacob Murphy cross to the miserable first half of Palace.
Isak put 5-0 in the 58th minute with a surprising effort from 25 yards of goals of goals that the Eagles have admitted in their last two games to 10.
Palace had four shots in the target, but his night was summarized late when Adam Wharton Capiatling in an error in the back to establish an attack of two players against Pope.
But the old Blackburn midfielder pass went to Beind Eddie Nketiah, who slid in the box.
“They were too good in each part of the game,” Glasner said.
“This is what we have to accept. They were too fast and direct: they punished our mistakes and touched the impulse.
“It’s a disappointing night. We should do an analysis tonight. Sometimes you have games where you need to go to the trash, and this is what we will do.
“It was the goal not to lose the second half, but today we did not achieve this little goal.
“It’s a day to forget. Tomorrow we will meet in the training field and start preparing for Bournemouth.”
