The planned maintenance will focus on roads, roads, street lighting and road structures.
The money, approved by the cabinet, includes planned schemes of the Acara and the resurgence road for parts of Katherine Road, Osborne Road and Upton Lane sections.
The Council said the work will include making changes in some of the oldest road structures, planting of trees, resurfaceing and rebuilding damaged sections of the road network.

The government’s financing of almost 700,000 will also be used to make improvements in West Ham Lane, High Street North and Ron Leighton Way.
Councilwoman Sarah Ruiz, a member of the Environmental Cabinet, sustainable transport, children’s services and education, said: “Well -maintained roads and pavements are essential for residents, companies and visitors in Newham.
“This program continues to address the oldest and most deteriorated roads in the municipality, ensuring its long -term sustainability.
“The planned maintenance objective is proactively to Mintain and invest in the road network, to avoid additional reactive reparation costs in the future.”
Since its launch in 2016, the Miling Newham Muding program has invested £ 77.85 million on roads and resurgence pavements throughout the municipality.
The Council said that 119 km of roads have been resurfaced under the program, representing approximately a quarter of its road network.
