The Metropolitan Police was alerted to the incident that involved a car and pedestrians in New Road at 8.18 pm of April 25.
The officers were sent to the scene with paramedics of the London ambulance service, where a 45 -year -old man suffered serious injuries.
He was treated at the scene before being hospital tasks.
A spokesman for The With has confirmed that his injuries are potentially changing, if not through life at this stage.
The accident is under investigation by the serious collision research unit, with the in progress to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A spokesman said: “The police was called to New Road, RM13 at 8:18 p.m., on Friday, April 25, after the reports of a collision that involves a car and a pedestrian.
“The officers attended the scene along with the London ambulance service that treated a 45 -year -old man for serious injuries before taking them to the hospital.

“Man suffered from injuries that change life/threatening and currently remain in the hospital.”
