PC Samuel McGregor, 33, was declared guilty of violating a woman in a direction in London in May 2021 after a trial inside the crown of London.
He was sentenced to four years and six months in prison on Tuesday (April 15).

McGregor “deliberately attacked the victim when he was in a vulnerable situation,” and Sheke was raped by him, said the Crown Prosecutor’s Office (CPS).
Duration A police interview, denied having had sex with the victim, but then changed his story to affirm that he was consensual after he learned of forensic evidence, the CPS said.
Cassandra Blight, of the CPS, said: “It is surprising to know that someone we trust to enforce the law has broken it and committed one of the most heinous crimes of a woman.”
McGregor had denied the position.
PC Samuel McGregor, (Image: With the Police) The Superintendent Chief Andy Carter said after the January verdict that he was “sick” due to the “abhorrent behavior of McGregor and the pain he has caused to the victim.”
He said that “there is no place” for people like McGregor in force, promising “eradicate such vile individuals.”
McGregor was reported to the police on June 2, 2021 and arrested the next day.
He was suspended from the service on March 3, 2022 after admitting that he was lying during the police interview.
