Samuel Omperon, 24, was making a friend in Kennington, south of London, when they were accidentally charged by a 1L bottle of Evian.
The couple had paid and was about to leave the store when their friend noticed that a bank notification appeared on their phone.
The alert showed a payment of £ 801.70, which led them to return immediately and question the cashier.

Samuel, a content creator and soccer coach with headquarters in Kennington, said: “It was a little crazy when we first noticed.
“We realized what had happened quite fast and we knew it was just an accident.
“Then, to be fair, it was quite fun.
“Obviously, it was so fun that the money really received tasks, but we knew it was not malicious and that they would be fine to return it.”
The corner store quickly realized the error and hastened to solve the problem, with Samuel’s friend then receiving a complete refund.
