Lloyd Park now has a Ninja path, zipper cable and accessible equipment, as well as a renewed sand, a new area for young children, a climbing area and a roundabout.
The financing for the project was insured and delivered by the Waltham Forest Council, with community contributions.
The new game area was officially inaugurated on April 10 by Clyde Lokes Mbe, vice president and councilor responsible for the quality of the climate and air.
The game area is designed to be inclusive and satisfy a wide range of needs and preferences.
It includes one of the first communication panels in the municipality, a visual help to help involve those who can find challenging communication.
Councilor Loakes said: “I am delighted to open this fantastic playground recently restored to local children and families.
“Lloyd Park is an incredible busy destination that attracts more than two million visits a year and the recreation patio here is a large part of its popularity.
“That is why the security of £ 250,000 of funds to complete this renewal has a key priority in our approach led by the mission to invest in communities.
“Outdoor game is vital for health, well -being and development of children, helping them develop trust and skills.
“We have excellent characteristics and teams of the highest quality, that our youngest residents can enjoy in the future.”
