An infused brioche bread with lemon tea and Earl Gray has been crowned with the best bread of the Great Britain.
In a roll, Miyo Aoetsu, who starts baking as a hobby, has now won the prize for the second time after his matcha flavor green bread, white and fruit chocolate took the Gong 2023.
He directs Kuma-San Bakehouse from his home in Darley Dale in Derbantshire, supplying businesses and baking bread so that customers collect it.
She told the BBC that I was delighted with the Superior Prize and added: “I was speechless when I won … I was very happy, I was almost shouting on stage.”

The PAN won first place in the best PAN competition in Great Britain, led by British Baker’s commercial magazine, and also won in the innovation category.
The judges said that the PAN, which surpassed another 200 to the award, impressed them with their “unique flavor profile” with Earl Gray tea and lemon peel confited with Limoncello, combined with lemon curd and juice for A “.
Miyo, 55, said the Limoncello gave the bread “a kick”, but the secret ingredient was a Japanese citrus fruit, commonly known as Yuzu.
Miyo said: “In recent years in Japan, the combination of Earl Gray tea and citrus fruits such as Limón has really been fashionable, so people do many cakes and cookies with thesis.
“So I started thinking about making a bread with these combinations … I like the aroma or subtle tea when used in cooking.”

But he added that it was not a perfect oven from the beginning and made “about 45 breads” before being satisfied with the finished product.
“I bake, bake and bake until I was sure I would be ready for competition,” he said.
When winning for the second time on April 8, Miyo added: “There is always a possibility, but I really didn’t think it would happen … but when they call me my name, I was speechless, but I was really slippery and happy for the effort in which I was fine.”
Born in Tokushima, about 93 miles (150 km) of Osaka, Miyo, moved for the first time to the United Kingdom to study at the University of Manchester, where she with her husband.
The couple then lived in Luxembourg and France, where Miyo tried the French bread. Then he started baking his own bread after returning to England.

The prestigious award has not left Derbyshire since Miyo won with his green bread in 2023.
Last year, 4 eyes Bakery, based in Staveley near Chesterfield, won with its creation of deep garlic and rosemary.
“It’s a big thing to keep the prize here,” Miyo said.
“I know Tom [at 4 Eyes Bakery] Who won it last year … It is an excellent baker and I am slippery, this award remains in the county.
“Having it still in Derbantshire is something wonderful because the quality of the bread in this area is fantastic.”
In his next creation, Miyo said: “I am always interested in combining Western and Japanese cultures in my baking … I am experiencing all the time.”
