Fiftely firefighters and around 100 firefighters are addressing the fire in Leman Street from 5.30 pm today (April 20).
A fifth floor and a part of a second floor on the seventh floor are lit.

The commanders have erected an observation tower of 64 meters high and are working to suppress the fire, whose cause has no bone.
Whitechapel teams, Shadwell, Shoreditch, Dowgate, Bethnal Green and surrounding fire stations are on the scene.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “Fifteen fire trucks and around 100 firefighters are boarding a flat fire in Leman Street in Aldgate.
“A floor of the fifth floor is on. Part of a second floor on the seventh floor is also on.
“One of the 64 -meter rotating stairs of the brigade is being used as an observation tower, providing a point of view for incident commanders to evaluate the incident.
“The 999 control officers of the Brigade took the first 15 calls to the fire in 1743 and mobilized the Whitechapel, Shadwell, Shoreditch, Dowgate, Bethnal Green teams and the fire stations surrounding the scene.
“The cause of fire is not known at this time.”
