Terence Mark Hogan, 51, or Lonsdale Avenue, died in his partner’s house in Hall Road, Dagenham, in November.
An investigation was formally opened in his death in East London Forener’s Court, Walthamstow, on Wednesday, April 23.
The Forensic Graeme Irvine ordered the Police to take a statement from Mr. Hogan’s partner.
“It will have to be a detailed statement that incorporates the events last November, including the circumstances in which she knew that Hogan was taking harmful substances in the facilities,” he said.
Hogan was found dead about 18 hours after his partner saw him for the last time, Irvine said.
“In the event of November 16, 2024, around nine o’clock, Terence was seen by his partner in his direction,” he said to the Court.
Mr. Irvine said it was known that Hogan had a light fluid of insignators, smoked drugs and drunk somewhere in the region of eight or nine cans of beer.
“Terence was agitated in his behavior, so just after midnight, his partner left him to sleep.
“When he woke up the next day, Mr. Hogan reviewed at six o’clock at night and Mr. Hogan did not respond.”
Police and paramedics were called to the management, but Mr. Hogan was a pronounced dead.
Police declared death not suspicious and sent it to Mr. Irvine, who ordered a post mortem exam.
“Unfortunately, due to systemic delays in the provision of reports of forensic pathologists and the need for toxicology, it is very recently that a cause of death to the court has been sacrificed,” he said.
The death of Mr. Hogan was attributed to “multiple toxicity”, so it is an unnatural death that must be investigated through an investigation.
Mr. Irvine ordered the dissemination of evidence, including GP records.
The complete research was provisionally listed for November 5.
