A request for freedom of information (FOI) submitted by The recorder The Council has revealed the amount of money earned through parking fees in the last three years.
Of 2022-2025, the Hovering Council revealed that it has won £ 3,984,324 of parking parking lots.
These data are based on the income of car parking payments by machine and payments by phone.
In the most recent data by 2024/25, the Hovering Council won £ 1,538,227 through its parking lots.
The highest parking agreement to the data was Oldchurch Rise in Romford, which registered £ 193,247 during this period.
The second largest amount of money was brought by the parking lot of Slaney Road in Romford: £ 183,766.
The following on the list were the facilities in Romford Market, which won £ 168,350, Fentiman Way in Horchurch, which recorded £ 166.037 and Wilson closed in Upminster, which £ 154,331.

Bringing £ 152,232, the installation in Slaney Road was the highest parking in this period.
The next on the list was Wilson Close, which made £ 142,964 closely followed by Fentiman Way, who won £ 141.90.
The winners of the fourth and fifth best were Romford Market’s parking lot, which raised £ 132,410 and Oldchurch increased what won £ 132,268.
In the first year proven – 2022/23 – the Council won £ 1,196,935.
According to the data, Wilson Close parking contributed the largest amount of income with £ 177,625 for this period.
Earing’s following automobile parks were Oldchurch Rise, which brought £ 144,398, Fentiman Way with £ 129,890, Romford Market who won £ 128,709 and Slaney Road with £ 114.655.
A Hovering Council spokesman said: “The parking lots owned by the Council play a role in the support of our city and local centers, partly for those who trust their cars or have limited access to public transport, and we remain for compliance.
“This includes offering a free -hour parking session in all our parking lots and in parking places on the street, with the exception of those located in Romford and freezing our prices at levels 2024/2025 for the 2025/2026 period.
“We appreciate the understanding and support of the community as we strive to provide effective and efficient parking solutions for all our residents and visitors.”
