Horchurch High School on Broadstone Road was visited by Ofsted on February 5 and the findings were published on April 7.
The report says that the school has maintained its standards since it was qualified as “good” in March 2019.
According to the inspectors, the school supports students to “develop confidence and resilience” and students are “well supported by their personal development, even through assemblies and duration in groups of tutors, which helps prepare them for life.
“Students are guided to understand the importance of healthy relationships, full attention and online safety.
“As a result, students are encouraged to avoid risks and take care of their mental health and well -being.”

In addition to personal development, the curriculum was considered “ambitious” and allows students to develop knowledge “cumulatively.”
The staff routinely verifies that students know the curriculum they have in bone, said Ofsted.
The inspectors said that Horchurch High School students have “high aspirations” and are “motivated to do well and supported to make careful decisions about their future.”
“Students achieve well in a wide range of topics and, as results, are well prepared for the next stage of their education, employment or training.”
It was also discovered that leaders had integrated an “effective behavior policy” that all understand and implement consistently.
The report pointed out that students behave well in the lessons and listen to attention to their teachers and others, and the school has created an inclusive culture, where students are taught to “respect and celebrate the difference.”
A horchurch spokesman High School said: “Given the changes of Ofsted in this academic year, the result of this monitoring visit (Section 8) was the best possible result.
“Under a new leadership in the last two years, the school has been strengthening, with the best performance to date together with a OFSted report what we highlight are a school with high expectations, an ambitious curriculum and an inclusive culture.
“The school improvement never stops; we want the best education for our young people.”
