After marrying his partner, Goksu, 33, the newlyweds shared photos and videos of his big day on Tiktok, but Basak says he received a reaction for his choice of dress.

But the strangers were quick to comment, calling their “sticky”, “garbage” and “unpleasant” outfit that Basak said his feeling “harassed.”
Basak, who lives in Hackney, said: “I only had 200 followers at the time.

“At first I was very, very surprised.
“I didn’t think anyone commented on the dress.
“People said you can’t use black for your wedding, they [wedding dresses] They are white for a reason.
“They mainly said that my bra was showing and revealing: they said it was inappropriate.
“It is not suitable for a wedding.” Some people said “Have you dressed in the dark?”
“He was comfortable and felt like me.”

With the couple to have a great wedding in Milan, Italy, in July 2025, the bride “did not want to spend thousands.”
She excited some fragments of her online civil ceremony and quickly received almost 200,000 visits, but “bothered” in the comments section.
“They were mostly anonymous users,” Basak said.
“They said they hated our gaze, because it was black and secondly because the bra was showing.
“The majority of people who say these theses have the right to have an opinion, but does not mean that you can make hurtful comments to others.
“It was upset at the beginning, but after publishing a follow -up video on how I felt intimidated more positive vibrations and people defended me.

“I don’t care what people think.”
The family and friends “loved” Basak’s dress that day.
She added: “They said it was ‘so you’.
