The old Roxie Steak and Tap, in London Road, has been closed since 2019, but will be crushed in early June such as Rose and Lion.
The new pub will be focused on the games, with Shuffleboard, Darts Aummented reality (AR), table football and tables of retro arcade machine.
The main investment of Pubs owned by Heineken and local pub operators Steve Orme and James Thomson will create 10 new jobs.
Orme and Mr. Thomson, who are matches of the old school, run the gastro pub of Gastro The Red Lion in Shepperton and the Golden Grove in Chertsey.
They want the rose and the lion to look and feel different from other pubs on Twickenham and provide a unique experience.

“Although only a shell, we could see that it would be a fantastic sociable space open with high roofs and large windows.
“It will be a great place to hang out, with Shuffleboard, Ar Darts, table football, everything that adds to fun.
“There will also be a couple or tables of Arcade Retro machines, which can be played or simply used as a place to eat or drink.”
The pub will also organize live music on weekends and music bingo on Saturday mornings.
Mr. Orme added: “Given the Pub location on Twickenham, Rugby’s house, of course we will show live sports, but we will also project different games such as ice hockey and American National Football League.”
The menu in Rose and Lion will consist of broken hamburgers, pizzas, wings and ribs, all with sides.
The dishes will have a “more acute price”, but they will still use quality ingredients, with flesh with Rodney Macken, a famous chiswick butcher.
Drinks will include handicrafts, barrel and beers and premium cider of barrel, as well as a good selection of wines and spirits and an integral range of soft drinks.
A GCI interpretation of the new pub. (Image: supplied) Each area of Rose and Lion is being touched by the investment.
Inside, the appearance will be that of a classic London bar with a high ceiling suspended in steel posts and large windows that flood the room with natural light.
A large bar will take the center of the stage.
The interior will have a retro appearance with brick display and walls with traditional panels and wooden and tile floors.
There will be an eclectic furniture mixture that includes padded cocktail chairs and rotating armchairs, tables, chairs and booths stripped back.
The design will include an elevated area with seats for 25 and its own screen.
It will be used for live entertainment and can be reserved for events.
Six other screens will be splashed around the rest of the pub.
The toilets will also be updated with an accessible toilet with baby change facilities to use by parents and the disabled.
The exterior of the pub is being repainted in black with white windows and red doors, and a new signage and lighting was added.
In the back of the pub, an exotic secret courtyard of Beavertown adorned and paved with palm trees, pots and pots, an eclectic mixture of seats, outside television and a mural is being created.

Orme said: “The rose and the lion will have a wide appeal when it opens.
“Parents and children can enjoy the morning of coffee or affordable food at lunch time; there will be excellent food and drinks and there is a lot in sacrifice for those who want social experiences that do not necessarily focus on drinking.
“The pub is also presented idically for those who wish to hire parts of it for private functions.
“And, of course, it is the newest and most great place to go and publish rugby, so our opening in June is the perfect moment.”
The Star Pub Business Development Manager, Alex Jackson, said: “We are delighted to be coinverted with Steve and James in the creation of a different social place for Twickenham.”
