Firefighters are addressing a 2 km (1.2 miles) long -lasting wasteland in West Yorkshire.
The fire exploded near Oldham Road in Rpontonen around 12:15 BST, said West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (Wyfrs).
Currently, the cause of the fire is not known and smoke has been undulating through the M62.
A WyFRS spokesman said that 18 crews, including the Gran Manchester firefighters, were on the scene using specialized forest fire equipment to address the fire.
