Morrison announced on March 24 that it will close 17 of its convenience stores and 52 coffees in the store.
The retailer plans to close several services in the store, including some meat and fish, pharmacies and all kitchens in the market, as part of an effort to redirect funds to other business areas.
The Morrisons Daily store in Featherbed Lane in Selsdon is one of the stores that will close, and this will be on Wednesday (April 16).
The CEO of Morrisons Rami Baitiéh said: “In most places, Morrisons Café has a brilliant future, but a minority has specific challenges and, in those places, unfortunately, the closure and reallocation of space are the only sensitive.
“Market Street is a lighthouse or differentiation for Morrisons, and we are still committed to him.
“But we modernize, we are making some necessary changes in the areas of the model that are simply not economical.
“In some stores where we are closing counter or coffees, we plan to work with third parties to provide a relevant specialized sacrifice.
“Although these changes are relatively small in the context of the general scale of the Morrisons business, we do not take the interruption and uncertainty that will cause cause to some wheat drags.
“Of course, we will take special care to take care of them well through the next changes.”
Other stores that close in southern London are coffees in the Sidcup Westwood Lane and Ehyrh branches.
The closing dates for those branches have not revealed the leg.
