Chris Eank JR opened about the fractured relationship with his father and his brother’s death before Saturday’s publicized fight with the rival Conor Benn.
The totally British resentment match will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, more than 30 years after their parents begged their own iconic rivalry.
Speaking at the Thorsday press conference, Benn, 28, promised to inflict “pain” to the 35 -year -old Euank JR, in his average weight contest.
“What is pain?” Euank Jr replied, whose brother Sebastian died in 2021 at 29. “I have a brother who is buried in the desert in Dubai, that’s pain.
“I have his son, three years old, he asked:” Why can’t I see my dad? Why can’t he take me to school? “That is pain.”
Chris Eubank SR is becoming increasingly unlikely, who beat Nigel Benn in 1990 before a contentious draw three years later, will be in Saturday’s fight.
Eubank SR has fallen with his son and not with a leg involved in any of the fights.
“My own father, a man who idolized throughout my life, and he doesn’t speak to me,” added Eank Jr.
“We behave for years and he believes that I am a shame. These things are what pain is for me.”
Eubank Jr and Benn were scheduled to fight in October 2022, before Benn failed a voluntary drug test.
A long and intense look occurred in the confrontation, although there was no repetition of the infamous February press conference when Eubank Jr hit Benn with an egg.
