The Riverside gardens will soon be attributed to the public with new seats, a playground, a physical conditioning area outdoors and a community gardening area.
A ‘Route of the Thames Maritime Paseo’ will also run along the gardens, offering views of the river.

Councilor Richard Diment, a member of the Cabinet for neighborhoods, said: “We are really satisfied with how Riverside Gardens is joining, the changes are part of the serious commitment of the Council to transform the area and open the Riverside space.
“The gardens have been designed to offer something for everyone.
“We know how enthusiastic are residents to start enjoying the new facilities and we are working hard to allow safe access as soon as possible.”
Despite being about to end, some construction and health and safety controls are still lined up throughout the site.
The newly planted areas are also given time to establish before the park completely open to the public.
It is expected that part of the park will be open for public use in May, with a formal opening planned for June.
Riverside Gardens is a key part of the broader regeneration program Eash, which also includes Onwaln Tree Road and 68 Pier Road and more improvements for Eith High Street.
The new 68 Pier Road space will have a kitchen, an area of hirable events and meeting rooms, and a changing toilet installation.
There will also be an inner courtyard that local people can use to meet and relax and for community outdoor events.
Work is expected to improve the Walnut Tree path for pedestrians and vehicles are completed for this summer.
The Council has been working closely with local people and partners to offer improvements in Eash that allow them to make the most of its location by the river and prosper as a place to live and do business.
