Ed Sheeran fans have received a “surprise” concert in a pub in their origin county that is taking more than fifteen days.
The Thomas Wolsey in the center of the city of Ipswich has been reviewed as the old phone, named for one of Sheeran’s latest songs.
The pub will be known by that name for two weeks, before it returns to your real name again.
Music lovers have been talking about their delight when you see the global star act at your door.

Rachel Clements, 28, from Stowmarket, said she was “very excited that he was doing something so small, in our hometown.”
Mrs. Clements said she hoped to listen to her last song and new material from her game album, which includes a song called Old Phone.
“We had one of his songs like our wedding song last year, so I hope that does that,” he added.
Mrs. Clements was among the many fans who responded to a message from Ed Sheeran WhatsApp to receive tickets.
People also expected to see if they could let themselves into if there was space.
It is the latest installment of Sheeran’s emerging pub concept.
He previously opened versions of the old phone on IPPSWich, Massachusetts, USA, during one night and another at the Coachella Festival in California.

Alyssa Ali, 20, from Florida in the United States, had been in London, where he has been studying for a month.
She fortuitously decided to come to IPPSWich this weekend, as part of her trips around the United Kingdom.
Sheeran grew in Framlingham, about 15 miles north of Ipswich, but is known for being an avid Ipppswich Town fan and has sponsored her shirts, and played concerts in other pubs of the city before she became famous.
“I love Ed and I have been a fan for a decade,” said Mrs. Ali.
“So I had to come to his hometown and turn to Pswich, and I was here yesterday, and then decided to appear here in this pub, and the eight minutes of my hotel on foot from there, so we ran here as Zoon as I discovered, with the hope of entering.
“I am so nervous because I don’t know if I can enter. I am very excited to be in his presence again.”
She said she really wanted to listen to her new songs.

Michael Marron, 38, from Ipswich, also hoped to see Sheeran act.
“Enchanted, we saw this show in the United States and we were damn if I did something like this in Ipswich.
“It’s great that he returned to Pswich and is entertaining the people of Suffolk.”
Sheeran is known for playing improvised concerts in the city of Suffolk County, including one in the Town Hall in 2022.
“It’s a buzz, and always makes an additional effort for Suffolk’s people,” said Marron.
“I remember that I was not here a long time ago and gave a guitar to a elementary school boy. It’s great to see celebrities do that.”
