The Secretary of Transportation has pledged to reduce the number of student drivers in England waiting for more than five months to sit practices.
Heidi Alexander said the government would aim to clear the accumulation for next summer, providing at least 10,000 additional management exams per month to help address the problem.
The waiting times of the current management test are “totally unacceptable,” the Parliament Transport Committee told Wednesday.
