The registration to vote in the local and mayor elections in May in England is to close on Friday.
Anyone who wants to vote has until 23:59 BST on Friday to send a request to register.
There are local elections to 24 of the 317 Councils of England, as well as some mayor’s authorities on May 1.
It is the first large set of surveys since the victory of the landslides of labor in the general elections of last year.
Around 1,650 seats will be played in 14 County Councils, eight unit authorities, a metropolitan district and in the Scilly Islands.
There will also be mayor elections in western England, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Doncaster, North Tyneside and, for the first time, in Hull and East Yorkshire, and Greater Lincolnshire.
The elections at the 21 County Councils in England had to take place.
But last month, the government announced that the elections would be postponed in nine areas, where the councils are carrying out a reorganization and return.
The same day, there is also a partial election of Westminster in the Cheshire of Runcorn and Helsby seat.
There are no local elections scheduled in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Niki Nixon, communications director of the Electoral Commission, said: “Tomorrow is the last day to register to vote before the next local elections on May 1.
“It must be registered before the deadline at midnight on Friday so you can give your opinion.
“If your data has changed or moved home since last year’s general elections, you must register again.
“Just take five minutes, and you can do it online at Gov.uk/register-to-vote.
“And if you want to vote by mail or designating a power to vote in your name, you must submit an application before next week, but you must be registered to vote first.”
