The club will expand its gym and change facilities and build a new land maintenance building in its training field in Metropolitan Open Land (mol) in Cope Road Cope Road, Beckenham.
The approval occurred despite some local opposition and was based on the support of the proposal for the broader sports use of the site.
The new plans will see the demolition of the existing garage maintenance building, together with the elimination of water tanks and current silos.
The construction will include single -floor extensions and two floors to the gym and the medical block, a new land maintenance building and a water with a pump house.
The project also includes an expanded parking.
Councilor Alexa Michael, president of the Development Control Committee, said: “We were persuaded by very special circumstances in support of this relatively modest proposal, which is also in line with the principles in prior planning.
“We were demanded that we focus on the material planning of consultations to determine this application instead of the broadest groups.”
The decision, taken on April 10, 2025, continued its postponement at a meeting of the subcommittee of plans the previous month.
