Mrs. Davis, teacher and councilor of Waddon, aims to “put people first” and provide a “clean rest of the past” for Croydon Labor.
She has served as president of Croydon’s scrutiny for two years, winning a reputation for her interrogation and understanding independent of the finances of the Council.
Mrs. Davis has also participated in community campaigns against food poverty, low wages and poor homes.
She said: “I am delighted to stand as a work candidate for the mayor of Croydon.
“Croydon needs change. I love my house, but we are being disappointed.
“Our municipality is the ‘Voleta capital of England’, our streets and neighborhoods feel neglected, and too many people feel insecure, while our city center is a depressing shadow of the delight that used to be.
“For too long, Croydon has been hit by poor management and bad development.
“That changes with me, I’ll put people first.”
Mrs. Davis also expressed her pride of having gained the confidence of the Labor Members with a “clear mandate for change.”
She added: “Now I want to gain public confidence.
“Together, we will make Croydon a place to be proud or.”
Mrs. Davis will face current Mayor Jason Perry, who was elected in May 2022.
Perry was Croydon’s first elected mayor after a referendum was the hero to change the leadership structure of the Council of a leader of leader and cabinet to a mayor’s system.
