Collier Row Mosque at Chase Cross Road asked the Havering Council last month to vary a previous planning condition, limitation of its opening times.
The issue of the Mosque hours saw the Council and the educational and cultural center of IQRA, responsible for directing the place of worship, coming and going on numerous occasions.
When the place opened for the first time in 1999, it was only allowed to operate between 6 am and 3 pm on Sundays and 6pm to 9pm on Mondays.
Since then, it has a series of applications that seek to make changes and extend the hours of operation.
At present, the place of worship is open from 12 pm to 7.30 pm from Monday to Friday, and from 12 pm to 5.30 pm on weekends and bank holidays.
These hours were assured as permanent in a conditional approval by the counter in January last year.
In its most recent application, IQRA’s educational and cultural center requested permission to open from 11 am to 10 pm through the week.

On April 14, a decision of the Hovering Council was made, revealing that the application has rejected the leg.
The Council declared that the impact of the change of hours will probably have an impact on surrounding residential buildings as a result of “a greater degree of arrival and coming.”
There was a reason for the refusal, claiming that “inevitably the proposal would result in unacceptable levels of noise and disturbances for the comforts of such occupants at the time when the nearby residential occupants expect a degree of calm and tranquility.”
