Getty imagesThe American singer Chris Brown has been accused of serious body damage with intention, says the Metropolitan Police.
The force says that the position is related to an alleged assault, which, according to the reports, Tok Place in a nightclub in downtown London on February 19, 2023.
The 36 -year -old retention was arrested in a hotel in Manchester in the early hours of Thursday.
He remains in custody and must appear before the Manchester Magistrates court on Friday.
“We have authorized the Metropolitan Police to accuse Chris Brown with a serious body damage charge, contrary to section 18 of the Law of Crimes against the person of 1861,” said Adele Kelly, the main deputy prosecutor of the North Crown.
He added that “the criminal procedures against this accused are active” and “has the right to a fair trial.”
The R&B singer is currently on tour and is scheduled to play several shows throughout the United Kingdom in June and July.
