Chigwell has placed ninth in the list compiled by properties purchase agents, Garrington Property Finders.
The 1,447 cities, cities and towns in England and Wales have classified into the annual report based on five separate criteria: natural beauty, well -being, heritage and culture, schools and jobs and value for money.
Other areas that arrived at Top 10 include Redbourn, Epsom, Whitburn, Marple, St Albans, Alnwick, Merley, Ewell and Ashtead.
According to Garrington’s property search engines, Chigwell obtained the greatest amount of qualifications for the quality and value of the price of housing, as well as the natural environment.
A remarkable mention is the Natural Reserve of Roding Valley Meadows, which is the segino of Essex’s wildlife, is “the Prado de Agua rich in species largest in Essex with its famous exhibition of wild flowers and wonderful habitat mosaic.”
