The Coronation Street star, Jack P Shepherd, has been crowned as the winner of the celebrity Big Brother this year.
Shepherd, who has played David Platt for 25 years in the soap, beat other finalists, including drag artist Danny Beard, the American personality Jojo Siwa and television star Chris Hughes.
Also in the Final of ITV reality show on Friday were comedian Donna Preston and pop star Chesney Hawkes.
This year’s series reached the headlines when Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke was presented as one of the housemates, while it was next three weeks ago, before being expelled by “inappropriate language” and “unacceptable behavior.”

The Oscar -nominated actor received a warning after Siwa accused him of being “homophobic”, before being retired after a confrontation with former Love Island Hughes star.
Hughes and former Dance star Moms Siwasiwa, 21, formed a close friendship in the program. He also made waves when he said that being in the house had made her decide to identify as strange or lesbian adhesion.
“I’m changing letters!” She told Beard, joking that she was moving from L to which in LGBTQ.
“I have always told myself, a lesbian, and I think that being here realized:” Oh, I’m not a lesbian, I’m strange. “And I think that’s really great.”
The favorite of the spectators
The celebrities who were voted during the series included Trisha Goddard television presenter, Daley Thompson athlete and the Easters Patsy Palmer icon.
Also in the alignment were the deputy Michael Manricont, the presenter Angellica Bell and the only way is she Rae Wise.
But it was Shepherd who emerged as the favorite of the spectators.
The 37 -year -old has been a fixed element on the screen as Gail David’s son since 2000, when he was 12 years old. There have been speculation about the program, but he has said that he stays well for another 25 years.
This was the second edition of Big Brother celebrities on ITV since the station revived the program in 2023. The launch episode earlier this month was seen by approximately 2.7 million people.
