A planning application has submitted one leg to demolish a bungalow in Burland Road and replace it with three houses on two -story terraces.
The terraces would be each “family houses”, with three bedrooms on the first floor and a living room, kitchen/dining room and bathroom at floor level.
The Planning Declaration, prepared by Causeway Planning on behalf of the applicant Vitaliy Boretskyy, details that each house would also have a parking space on the front and a ten meters long garden.
According to the statement, the applicant initially hoped to build four houses on terraces on the site of Bungalow, each with three floors and up to four rooms.
However, at a meeting prior to the application in October 2024, the planning officers of the Hovering council raised Conerns that would have a “dominant impact” on the neighbors and would be “out of place” with the surrounding area.
As a result, the number of houses was reduced and the second floor of the proposals was eliminated.
Now it is planned that each house will measure seven meters wide, with 128 square meters of space on both floors.
In the Planning Declaration, Causeway Planning said that the proposed household terrace, designed to “respect the local character” and “integrated comfortably” in the surrounding area.
He added: “The scheme will offer a standard high quality accommodation with internal accommodation and external services space that exceed the minimum standards.”
Havering Council has until June 6 to make a decision on the proposals.
