Michael Butler and his 86 -year -old grandmother live on the upper floor or a block of floors in Europe Road, and both trust the elevator to move.

The 37 -year -old told the news buyer: “On April 4, the elevator broke.
“Normally, a couple of hours are needed to repair, which is a problem.
“And on April 5, the elevator was work in letters, but then stopped.
“From April 6 to this day, the elevator is completely out of service.
“In general, it would be so goods, but obviously we are very low in food, and use a mobility scooter to leave.”

Michael states that he received a letter from the Greenwich Council with “completely incorrect dates” in him, and that his grandmother, who is also the head of tenure, contacted the Council on April 6 and 7.
He says that the Council guaranteed them that the elevator would be working in both days, but they were “empty words.”
After contacting his local parliamentarian, Michael says the council “covered his previous error.”
He added: “This letter was a little more updated, saying that seven days were going to spend the repair, and then, a couple of days later, they decided that all the sauces were going to take many weeks to repair, which is shocking.

“I made a formal complaint with the advice, but they have ignored it.
“I have also pushed the counter’s insurance side too, there is no joy there.
“I just tried to get a lawyer, but they said they could not avoid in that circumstance.
“It really is a task in my diseases.
“I can’t go out to do the food store for Nan.”
Michael’s grandmother has lived in the block of floors for 23 years, and the floor also has other older people who live there, so the breakdown of the elevator has hindered life.
Michael said: “I saw a guy who is in crutches that had to climb the entire stretch of stairs.
“My autism is affecting quite a lot, because I will do the food store for Nan, since it is not very mobile.
“The food will not last forever, and I really can’t make the stairs.
“It feels worse than being in prison, that is the best way to describe it.
“It makes you feel like a crazy person.”
A spokesman for the Greenwich Council apologized for the “anguish that the broken elevator has caused residents.”
The spokesman said: ”
“We have assured that residents have been updated on repair, but we appreciate that it has been inconvenient.
“We will work with residents to help how we can while the elevator is out of action.”
