The men entered a Vodafone store in Newmarket, West Suffolk, where they pushed staff to a storage area and threatened an employee.
Two of the men filled a large gray bag with £ 30000 of stock and then left the store.
The three were arrested after a “rapid and effective cooperation” between Suffolk, Essex officers and the Metropolitan Police, which turned out that the men’s car was requested where about 50 devices recovered.
Samuel Zebo, 21 years old or Gorman Road in Woolwich, and Jevan Davis, 26, or Gilbert Road in Belvedere, admitted robbery and were imprisoned for three years.
Bobby Ezeoba, 26, or Plumstead Common Road, declared himself guilty of theft and received a community order of 18 months, 250 hours of unpaid work, fold £ 1,000, and was disqualified from driving for eight months for not having insurance.
The Inspector Detective Cat Thompson, or the Suffolk police said: “These defendants traveled to Suffolk to commit a crime, but were frustrated by rapid and effective cooperation between us and their colleagues in Essex and the MET.
“With luck, this sentence will send a strong message to others considering the same.”
