Police was called to Beckenham High Street yesterday (April 17) around 9:15 pm after an accident that involved multiple vehicles and a truck.
A man was arrested on the scene under suspicion of drunk driving and remains in police custody.
The force confirmed that there were no injuries.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police: “On Thursday, April 17 at 9:15 p.m., the police were called to Beckenham High Street after reports of a traffic collision between a vehicle and multiple.
“The officers attended the scene and arrested a man on suspicion of drunk driving. He remains in custody.
“There were no injuries.”
