Good news for travelers!
The International Pakistan airline is ready to return to European skies, after EASA elevates the suspension.
It is an excellent opportunity to experience the exceptional service of PIA and the real Pakistani hospitality on board. Travelers prefer to book flights with a national carrier for competitive rates and convenient times. Therefore, Pakistan can now explore reserving non -stop flights with Pia from the nearest airport in the United Kingdom.
The EASA European Security Aviation Agency has raised the four -year prohibition of Pakistan International Airlines. Previously, EASA prohibited the airline from operating in the EU in June 2020 in groups of certain errors and breach of the standards. However, EASA has reoestabered enough confidence in the Pakistan civil aviation authority to authorize PIA to carry out flight operations to, from and inside the EU.
PIA expressed his gratitude to return to the air of European countries, and promised to comply with the rules and regulations of EASA, ensuring compliance with security standards. The Minister of Defense and Aviation published on a social media platform:
It is a transcendental day to announce that the European Commission and the European Aviation Security Agency (EASA) have raised the suspension of PIA flights to Europe. Not only this, the authorization of TCO* has also emitted the leg to the second Pakistani airline – Airblue Limited.
It is made possible due to the full approach of the Aviation Ministry to strengthen PCAA [Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority] and guarantee the supervision of online security with the OCO standards. Our government has significant measures tasks to strengthen PCAA, including the promulgation of the PCAA Law, the soft segregation of regulators and services, the appointment of professional leadership and training to develop capacity.
I am grateful to the European Commission and EASA for carrying out a transparent process and our commitment to guarantee the safety of aviation in Pakistan.Minister of Defense and Aviation,
